Already have solar? Keep it working at its best. A bird dropping or a lichen patch can create a hot spot on a panel, and that cell damage can be permanent. There is no mandatory UK maintenance standard for solar, so most systems are never checked. Your manufacturer requires the system to be maintained in line with their manual as a condition of the product warranty.
